Tucson

Tucson is what I like to think of as a perfect-sized city. With a population of over 500,000 it still has a small-town feel. Tucson is considered a low-light city that intentionally limits artificial light pollution and is a stargazer’s dream come true. There are many opportunities to explore an interest in astrology, and many federal and university observatories are within a few hours of Tucson. Other entertainment options are exploring the incredible Sonoran desert landscape and tasting Tucson’s rich culinary heritage. Check out some of my favorite things to do in Tucson.

If you live in Arizona or are visiting there are many things to do to occupy your time. All you have to do is get out there and try something new. I have lived in Tucson for nine years and will be exploring what Tucson and the surrounding areas have to offer and sharing them with you. I hope to discover a little bit more of this state my family has decided to call home.
